DILLAI, Nov 28: A 4-year old boy sustained serious injuries on the head after falling into a ringwell inside Koilaja area.
The minor victim identied as Aryan, son of Bimol Teron and Ambika Terangpi, resident of Udeng Tisso village inside Koilajan, Dillai accidentally fell into the ringwell where digging work has been going on. The boy was immediately taken to Diphu Medical College & Hospital was later referred and finally being taken to Faith Hospital in Dimapur for better treatment. According to the parents of the victim, the ringwell is 40 feet deep and the incident took place when the workers were taking a rest.
Meanwhile, the parents has called upon Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang, local elected representative and EM Suryja Rongphar, and well wishers for immediate assistance to save the boy’s life which need urgent operation.
