BOKAJAN, Dec 10: Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang laid the foundation stone of Ru Bonglong Terang at Rongplimplam, inside Dillai falling under the Borjan MAC Constituency here this morning.
The foundation stone was laid in the presence of KAAC EM Surya Rongphar, Karbi Language Board Chairman Prof. Nobin Terang, former Karbi Language Board Chairman Longsing Teron, Ru Bonglong Terang grandson Anand Terang, Dorsing Terang, Ranjit Terang, daughter in law Kareng Rongpipi and others at 9 am.
According to the KAAC Arts & Culture Department, the land was donated by Kisong Terang for the purpose where a garden under his name will be constructed. Meanwhile, the KAAC also expressed gratitude towards the family members of the great Karbi litterateur for donating the land.
