DONGMUKAK, Jan 08: Youth of Paklongkam Men Taro village of Paklongkam in collaboration with Paklongkam Picnic Spot Development Committee conducted a cleanliness drive at the site on the confluence of Dikrutpi Rivers on Sunday.
The venue was selected being their locality and one of the most popular picnic spot of the district. Thus, the youth cleaned the area, collected all waste, liquor bottles and plastics strewn all around to dispose them off to give a new look to the areas.
Development committee in their address lauded the volunteers for their selfless endeavors for the drive and urged the villagers to install dustbins at the picnic spot.Youth committee president and secretary Jonsing Taro and Dinesh Rongphar appeals the public to maintain peace and clean while visiting to place in greater interest of the local including youth and development committee.
Apart from Youth and development committee SGB Badan Chandra Taro and GB Birsing Tamang attended the cleanliness drive.
