DIPHU, Apr 12: The Karbi Anglong district administration today distributed financial aids to Bihu Committees of Karbi Anglong through the Govt. of Assam’s mission.
The ceremonial distribution of the money to 21 Rongali Bihu Utsav Udjapan Committees of the district was held this evening at the Diphu Circuit House conference hall. The beneficiary Bihu committees have received a cash amount of Rs. 1,50,000 each. Diphu MLA Bidyasing Engleng, KAAC EM Billi Mohan Khaklary, Deputy Commissioner Madhumita Bhagawati, election officer Kabayashree Dihingia, several officers, NGO leaders and others were present at the occasion.
