Dokmoka Municipal Board chairman Prahalad Timung on Sunday laid foundation stone for the construction of a new building at Dokmoka Market.
The foundation stone laying ceremony was carried out in presence of Mahamaya VCD chairman Rajesh Teron, Mahamaya BJP Mondal president Purno Engti, Dokmoka Municipal Board Ward commissioner Sarlongki Tisso, vice chairperson Rebika Engtipi, staff of Dokmoka Municipal Board and several eminent personalities of the region.
Chairman Prahalad Timung informed that the budget for the construction of the new building was allocated from the monthly revenue generated under Dokmoka municipal board and is expected to be completed within one month from the day of the construction.
After completion of the building construction, fresh tender for the rooms would be notified publicly and the rooms would be designated to the rightful contenders.
Further, he also expressed his gratitude to KAAC CEM Dr.Tuliram Ronghang, MLA Dorsing Ronghang, KAAC Chairman Raju Tisso and KAAC EM Lunsing Teron for granting such developmental projects under Dokmoka Municipal Board.
