TUMPRENG, Apr 11: With the aim of assisting citizens and tourists over political and administrative jurisdictions, the Dongkamukam Youth led by its president erected several hoarding boards at inter-district and state points in multiple locations inside the West Karbi Anglong districts here today.The initiative was led by Dongkamukam Youth president Jirjar Teron.
The youths informed TDE that the hoarding boards with “Welcome to West Karbi Anglong” were erected at inter-district point separating West Karbi Anglong district with Nagaon district in Tumpreng, Vothatlangso and inter-state border point at Am-i inside the West Karbi Anglong district separating Assam and Meghalaya and also inside Phelangpi (Kheroni).
Meanwhile, people of the West Karbi Anglong have lauded the youths for taking carrying out the work in the greater interest of all people of the district and beyond stating that it would surely benefits all citizens whether they are locals or tourists.
