DIPHU, Sept 27: With the motive to uplift education scenario of Karbi Anglong, the Dhansiri Youth Association (DYA) today organised an Education awareness cum note book distribution programme which was assisted by Ward Commissioner Simon Phangcho at three different schools including Jensing Teron English LP school, Daldali Govt. LP school and JJM Nikhoel Roy English school of Dhansiri. It was organized in association with the collective effort dedicated by the India government, Assam government and KAAC to establish quality education in the region. Following this, an interaction session was also held with the parents, teachers and students. The organisation also informed TDE that the same awareness campaign that began two years ago will be carried out as part of the organization’s activities in the following years.
DYA, CEC president Thengklong Rongpi was joined by GS Harsing Rongpi, Vice president Robising Terang, Rahul Bey, Education secy, office secy Rensing Hanse along with EM Amar Rongpi, Rajen Timung, EM Ronken Timung, DYA Daldali branch Secretary and others attended as guests of the event.
