BOKAJAN, Aug 07: The foundation stone for the construction of a new medical sub-center was laid today at a function held in Japralangso Cultural Complex. The sub-center will be built at Langchithing (Saphapani) under Bokajan LA. The foundation was laid by Assam Legislative Assembly deputy speaker and Bokajan MLA Dr. Numol Momin.
The ceremony was chaired by Sarupathar MAC Kadom Terangpi and attended by KAAC EM Richard Tokbi, EM Surjya Rongphar, Dr. Debojit Deori, VDC Chairman Silarson Rongpi, Alish Teronpi, SGBs, GBs and other eminent personalities from the constituency.
“The 30-bedded RCC sub-center building will be constructed under the Prime Minister ABHIM Scheme,” said MLA Dr. Momin.
MAC Kadom Terangpi thanked KAAC Medical EM, KAAC CEM, MLA Dr. Numol Momin, and Assam CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma for fulfilling the pre-poll promises made to the people.
