BOKAJAN, Sept 11: Hanjanglangso Sports Association entered the All Karbi Anglong Under-17 Boys Inter-Sub Association Football Championship after defeating Manja Sports Association through a tie breaker in the semi-final match played at Hanjanglangso playground here today.
The semi final match between the two began at 3 pm at Hanjanglangso playground. Both the team failed to make any breakthrough in the first half of the game which has shown the skills of both the teams. In the second half Manja Sports Association netted the first goal which brought life into the game. The celebration did not last long after Hanjanglangso team also managed to hold on to their nerve and shot a goal. The full time match ended on a draw forcing the team to go for a tie breaker during which the Hanjanglangso Sports Association successfully shot all turn while Manja SA missed one goal giving win for the local team by 6-5 goals.
Following this win, Hanjanglangso SA will play extremely tough team Langhin SA on September 14 at 2 pm at the same ground.
