BOKAJAN, Aug 18: Two persons were arrested after heroin was recovered during a raid conducted at a compound in Bas Bari under the Khatkhati Police Station here this morning. This was informed by police officials here today.
The raid was carried out by the police team led by Khatkhati OC PS, SI (P) Swmdwn Swargiary at around 11 am at the compound of one Jushna Khatun after receiving specific information about the presence of the narcotic substance. During the raid, the police recovered 58.81 grams of suspected heroin which was duly seized in the presence of independent witnesses and government officials.
In this connection, two persons from Sutragaon, Hojain district identified as Mhd. Dilwar Hussain (23), son of Nasir Uddin and Jushna Khatun, wife of Nasir Uddin were arrested. Cops informed that a case would be registered soon.
