BOKAJAN, Aug 05: In a huge success for the police, 16 containers containing 13 grams heroin along with 18000/- cash money, 3 mobile handsets, Adhaar Card, 2 ATM cards and Voter ID were recovered around 07:30 pm on Sunday during a search carried out in a house at Lahorijan near rail gate by Karbi Anglong ASP John Das of Bokajan. He was accompanied by officials of Khatkhati Police Station.
The market value of the recovered heroin is Rs. 1.5 lakhs approximately.
In this connection, a woman named Riya Asmina Khatun w/o Md.Basir Ali from Lahorijan was arrested. Later, Khatkhati police station took the matter into possession and an FIR was filed against the woman.
