KOILAMATI, Mar 29: An NGO-Holistic Life Transforming and Empowering Community (HLTEC) distributed gas stove to villagers of 10 villages in Panjan under the Nilip MAC constituency here today.
Altogether 160 stoves were distributed to villagers of ten villages including Panjan Sam Hanse village and Poisa Ingti village. According to locals, the NGO first collected Rs. 50 and Rs. 20 for registration and submission of Aadhar and other documents of the villagers.
Social workers Sunil Ingti and Harbamon Rongpi told reporters that, as per being asked by NGO head Joihind Ingleng and Manik Ronghang, minor charges was collected from villagers to cover registration, processing of documents, transportation and food for members involved in bringing the stove for the villagers.
