DILLAI, Aug 01: The Hidipi Sports Association Men’s Football Club League concluded today with the final match played between Horang FC and Jirsong Club FC. The Horang FC claimed the champion’s trophy by winning the match with a score 3-0 in their favour.
The league began on July 3 and concluded today (August 1). The tournament was organised in memory of Late Nilima Engtipi.
The pre-match ceremony was chaired by Hidipi Sports Association (HSA) president Philip Teron. Among the guests present were KAAC EM Surjya Rongphar, KASA general secretary Pankaj Teron, District Sports Officer Rilip Ronghang, HAS secretary Kaman Tisso, Borjan VDC chairman Sonaram Singnar, KSA CEC finance secretary Longkiri Ingti, Hidipi LAMPS president Chandra Timung, social worker Sundor Tisso, Dillai Thana president Sanjib Inghi and others.
The Best goalkeeper of the tournament was Sarchinthong Hanse, and the man of the match award was given to Kanghon Terang, while the highest scorer award was bagged by Calwin Tisso.
