CHOKIHOLA, Jun 03: Under the initiative of the ICYM Chokihola Parish, the 5th Indian Catholic Youth Movement knock-out football tournament kick-started today in Chokihola. The inauguration event was attended by Fr. Jonathan Teron and parish catechist Dorsing Singnar and Rajen Phangcho.
In the opening match played today, Rangsali FC and Akhoiphuta FC. The match was won by Akhoiphuta FC in the penalty shoot-out after playing a 1-1 scoreline in the stipulated match time.
Referees for the match were Jiten Phangcho, Harson Rongphar, Dilu Engti and Harlongbi Phangcho.
