DIPHU, Dec 10: Karbi Anglong Northern Afforestation DFO IFS Rabising Ingti was today feted at the 26th Annual General Meeting of Assam Forest Rangers’ Association at GUIST Conference Hall, Gauhati University.
The Northern Afforestation DFO was felicitated by State Minister for Environment & Forests, Act East Policy Affairs and Welfare of Minorities Chandra Mohan Patowary along with several other forest officials of the forest department.
During the event, the state Environment & Forests, Act East Policy Affairs and Welfare of Minorities Minister said that the forest officials must be appreciated for their dedicated service, even in the face of extreme danger to their lives, in safeguarding our forest cover and wildlife.
