IITian from Borlangso Rengma village awarded PhD

RNSU lauds him for his achievement

DIPHU, Aug 28: In a inspiring to the Rengmas living in the remotest village of Karbi Anglong, Thochi Sebü Rengma, s/o of Rev. Athang Sebü Rengma and Mrs. Elisa Jishing Rengma of Borlangso Rengma village under 25No. Nilip Constituency, has been conferred the PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. This was informed through a congratulatory message issued by the Rengma Naga Students’ Union (RNSU) here today.

According to the RNSU, the IITian Thochi Sebü Rengma was awarded the PhD degree (Doctor of Philosophy), in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi on the topic of thesis, title “Design and performance analysis of Savonius type ultra micro Hydrokinetic turbine.”

The RNSU in its congratulatory message issued through its president Thangshi Jishing Rengma and secretary, Education and Statistical, Arane Jishing Rengma said, “His remarkable achievement is a testament to his unwavering dedication and relentless hard work in pursuit of his goals. His hard work, determination, and passion have culminated in an extraordinary accomplishment that sets him apart.”

Further the RNSU said, “As you embark on the next chapter of your career, we are confident that your expertise, research acumen, and commitment to excellence will continue to shine brightly. May this significant achievement be the foundation for even greater success in your future endeavours.”
