BOKAJAN, Mar 26: The Bokajan Police today seized illegal wine being transported through the NH39. The seizure was done at Khakrajan naka checking at around 1 PM in the afternoon.
The wine was being carried in a truck bearing registration number NL 01 6599. Brought from Bandor Deva, Arunachal Pradesh, the wine was being taken to Dimapur. The total of 774 cartons of wine seized worthed around Rs. 18 lakhs in the market.
One person identified as Santosh Mohoto of Hanjanglangso had been arrested in this connection.
