KAAC Chief predicts BJP’s dominance, says APHLC won’t return to power for 50 Years

DONGKAMUKAM, Aug 04: In a bold assertion, KAAC Chief Dr. Tuliram Ronghang predicted that the Autonomous State Demand Committee (ASDC) alliance partner APHLC will not come to power in the Council for the next 50 years.
Addressing a joining program at Middle Langmepi playground, where 401 families from the opposition, including the likes of prominent leaders Kangbura Bey and Babu Dera joined the BJP. Dr. Ronghang said that people are increasingly coming into the BJP’s fold due to its development agenda. He emphasized that being part of the ruling party ensures development and problem-solving, stating, “It is a trend in politics that when people are with the government, development of the area happens smoothly.”
The KAAC Chief also clarified that the panchayat raj system has not been enforced in the twin hill districts, contrary to claims made by APHLC leaders, and therefore, no panchayat elections have been held.
Dr. Ronghang appealed to the people to unite and work towards building beautiful and peaceful twin districts. The joining program was attended by MLA Rupsing Teron, MLA Dorsing Ronghang, EMs, MACs, Board chairmen of KAAC, and President BJP WKADC Radip Ronghang, among others.
