DIPHU, Sept 25: A joint extended meeting of the Karbi Anglong District Mahila Congress Committee today at the KADCC office in Diphu with the goal of strengthening party activities.
KADCC president Purnima Teronpi presided over the meeting and attended by Mira Borthakur Goswami, head of the Assam Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee as guests of the event. The meeting was held to open the party’s branches throughout the district and consolidating through women’s strategy. Later, attendees at the meeting emphasised the significance of unity in uniting the party on one platform.
Following this, a decision was made to hold an extended meeting in all the 11 blocks of Karbi Anglong. Later, in an interview with local media, Assam Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee president Mira Borthakur Goswami also denounced the unlawful actions and corruption committed by the present KAAC CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang during his administration.
