DIPHU, Aug 08: Karbi Anglong girls displayed a fantastic performance and defeated Dima Hasao in the ongoing U-17 inter-district school football championship being played at Nehru Stadium today. The match was completely dominated by Karbi Anglong girls as they scored 6 goals, while their opponent could not net even once.
For Karbi Anglong, Serbirika Terangpi and Rengmir Ingtipi scored a hat-trick each.
In another match, West Karbi Anglong girls were up against Jorhat. Both teams were able to score 1 goal each in the stipulated time of the match, but Jorhat won it in the tie-breaker penalty shoot-out.
