HAMREN, Apr 28*: A memorandum was submitted today by the Karbi Nationalist Youth Council (KNYC) to the Deputy Commissioner of West Karbi Anglong ACS Krishna Baruah through the Additional Deputy Commissioner Ajit Kalita over the border dispute going on between Karbi Anglong and Meghalaya at Muthade and Langlongchor.
The organisation also told TDE that the border dispute is endless and is worsening day by day and that they are surprised by the silence of the KAAC CEM over the matter. In connection to the issue, the organisation in a provocative manner questioned KAAC CEM Dr.Tuliram Ronghang if he had joined hands with the Assam Government in the give and take policy of which a clarification is demanded from his end at the earliest and to act and bring an immediate peace and tranquility in the district.
The organisation also mentioned in the memorandum regarding the establishment of a permanent police outpost and proper road connection for mobilizing the people residing in the border areas,
