Correspondent DONGMUKAK, May 26: Two vehicle lifters were caught red-handed by Dokmoka police this morning morning at Dokmoka at around 5:30 am.
The two thieves were driving a stolen White CRETA with original number DL4CBB7932 which they changed to DL5 CT7304. The vehicle was brought from Hazrat Nizamuddin Police station, South East, Delhi.
As per the police, a white CRETA vehicle was stopped at a regular checkpoint in Dokmoka Police station at around 5:30 during the operation of NAKA Checking that was OC Sanat Kumar Mudoi for the Karbi Anglong.
The two persons arrested were identified as Md. Abash Khulakpam (29years), S/O of Md.Anamuddin, Yaripok Ningthounai,Salbal Leikai, Andro, Imphal Manipur and Ch. Wasim (19Years) S/o. Ch AJijur Raman, Santhel Awang Leikai, Mayang imphal Dist. Thoubal, Manipur A case no.27/2023/U/S-379/411/34 IPC has been registered in this connection.
