KOILAMATI, May 21: The Karbi Students’ Association Panjan unit under the Nilip branch reshuffled its body during a meeting held on Saturday afternoon.
The reshuffle meeting was chaired by KSA Bokajan District Committee president Raju Ingleng and was assisted by Desoi Teron.
According to the organisation, this was its first reshuffle meeting ever since the Panjan unit was formed in 2019. The unit was reorganized after a long deliberation and the new members were appointed with unanimous voice. As per its meeting, Longkiri Terang was appointed as the new president while Robinson Teron was appointed as the general secretary of the unit. Other important members include Ores Tisso (vice president), Tirkim Kiling (assistant secretary), Stanley Ingti (office secretary), Paul Greatson Kathar (publicity secretary), and executive members include Sintu Teronpi, Serlibon Teronpi, Nalibon Rongpipi and Waisong Ingti among others.
Further, the students’ organisation during its meeting also resolved to visit schools which had received ‘C’ and ‘D’ grades in this year’s Gunotsav. The leaders in their speech asserted that the progress of any society is possible only if its people are highly educated and skilled. The speakers also called upon its members for their concerted support towards its commitment towards transforming their respective area through their push for ensuring that their younger fellow beings are receiving quality education along with basic facilities and infrastructure.
