DONGKAMUKAM, APR 30: On Saturday Bishop of Diphu Paul Mattekat DD inaugurated newly built Catholic Chapel of Nokkarchung Karbi Rongsopi (Mary Arnam Apei aMondoli) under Sojong Parish, Dongkamukam West Karbi Anglong district here today.
The Diphu Bishop was accompanied by Fr Abraham Kannad Director DBI Sonapur, Fr. CB John Parish Priest of Sojong, Fr. CA John Parish Priest of Satgaon, Fr Tomy, Sisters, Dr. Dilip Kathar and others.
Speaking at the inauguration service, Bishop expressed extreme happiness and thanked several persons who extended their support towards its construction including those involved through their continued prayer support. The Bishop also called upon fellow believers across the districts to observe the prayer campaign for peace.
After mass a short cultural program was showcased followed by felicitation of guests and other dignitaries.
