New RCC bridge to be constructed over Nambor River at Silonijan

KOILAMATI, May 24: Carrying forward the task of rural development, the KAAC is set to build a new bridge over the Langsomepi Nambor River. Nilip MAC Pobitra Rongpi along with his team of officials from the PWD department visited the site today to do an environmental impact assessment of the project.
Langsomepi, a village which was founded in 1970 is getting an RCC bridge for its residents after 53 years. For decades, people have been facing several hardships in crossing the river and in traveling to the nearby villages. Sarthe Lekthe arong, Biren Tisso arong, Mongolsing Tisso arong, Bura Singnar arong, Mozari Teron, Bimal Rongpi arong, Nondo Ingti arong and Bepar Rongpi arong are the villages under Langsomepi that will be benefitted from the bridge.
Residents of the village have thanked local MAC Pobitra Rongpi, KAAC CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang, Bokajan LAC MLA Dr. Numol Momin for the initiative.
