DIPHU, Apr 19: Nihang Karbi Rongsopi villagers met Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang at his official bungalow to discuss matters pertaining to the development of the area. This was informed by Nihang Karbi Rongsopi (Nahorlangso) general secretary Bipul Tisso here today.
Nihang Karbi Rongsopi (Nahorlangso) general secretary told TDE that the villagers of the border area met the KAAC chief during which the residents acquainted of their existing situation and urging him to take development activities and tackle the water and challenges faced by them. A memorandum on behalf of the villagers was also submitted by its president Thangsing Timung and several others to the KAAC CEM Dr. Tuliram Ronghang who was accompanied by EM Amarsing Tisso during the interaction.
Nihang Karbi Rongsopi (Nahorlangso) general secretary expressed gratitude towards the KAAC CEM for his assurances towards the development and greater integrity of the hills district. He also expressed hope of positive transformation and progress of the villagers of the area.
