DIPHU, Jul 26: The KANCHASDCOM, KSA and KRAA jointly held a press meeting today at the office of the KADHASDCOM. They have informed that a delegation of the organisation and its allied groups will go to New Delhi to organise a protest demonstration at the Jantar Mantar, demanding the immediate implementation of Article 244(A). The dharna will be held on July 29.
The KANCHASDCOM leader Ajit Timung informed that they will be joined by Karbi Adorbar, KSA, DSU, KRA, KARSA and KUYA in the dharna. He appealed all sections of people living in Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao to support them in the struggle for an autonomous state.
“Our fight will not stop unless the Govt of India declares for the implementation of Article 244(A) to grant autonomous state to Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao,” Timung said.
Timung further appealed that no organisation must create any form of hurdle in their activities and all must work together to fulfil a common goal. “There must be no division among people when the goal is the same,” Timung concluded.
