BOKAJAN, May 09: Leaders and members of Saphapani Area Baptist Fellowship (SABF), visited Duar Bagori area after the annual meet was concluded yesterday. The initiative was under taken in the recent years by organizing all the leaders of different churches under SABF and this time around the annual meet was held at Chekso Baptist Church under 26 Duar Bagori Constituency.
Locals told TDE that Chekso Baptist Church can be considered as one of the oldest church in East-Karbi Anglong completing its 118 years old which was established in the year 1905. Later SABF celebrated the event successfully by sharing the message from the Bible and a mass prayer. Further, SABF president Aron Teron and secretary William Singnar also informed TDE that the event was followed by a picnic program at Kaipholangso waterfall.
