DIPHU, Aug 01: Renowned fashion designer Sabina Teronpi, wife of MLA Dorsing Ronghang, attended the Miss Emerging Icon-2025, a fashion show, as the chief guest. The event was held on July 31 at Club Nirvana Kamarkuchi, Sonapur. Teronpi is a National Awardee (Handlooms, Handcraft textile and Tribal Artisan) and has participated in several national-level exhibitions and shows.
The event was organised by Little Star Dance Academy and an initiative of popular choreographer Jitul Timung.
Speaking on the occasion, Sabina Teronpi encouraged the young participants to give more stress to popularise Karbi traditional dresses and ornaments. She said that fashion is a very big industry and there are huge scopes for livelihood. She encouraged them to work hard and be consistent.
