DILLAI, Apr 13: The 21. No. Borjan constituency BJP Minority Morcha organised Samajik Nyay Saptah at Hidipi during which a cleanliness drive and plantation of tree saplings was held.
The event was chaired by Borjan constituency BJP Minority Morcha president Sanjib Inghi and attended, as chief guest, by East Karbi Anglong District BJP Minority Morcha vice president Semion Rongphar, and accompanied by Borjan VDC chairman Sonaram Singnar, and leaders of several OBC Morcha, ST Morcha and Mahila Morcha.
While speaking on the occasion, the Borjan VDC chairman Sonaram Singnar called upon party members for continued unity and support towards executing party orders. He also stressed party members for strengthening party to ensure party’s victory in the next MP election.
During his speech, EKAD BJP Minority Morcha vice president Semion Rongphar stated that plantation of tree saplings was carried out in commemoration of BJP 44th Foundation Day. He also informed that altogether 44 tree saplings were planted on the day. He also stated that cleanliness drive was carried out to symbolise BJP’s war against corruption and other illegal activities.
