Solo cyclist Biswajit Singh reaches Assam after travelling across 21 states

BOKAJAN, May 18: A team of media personnel encountered a 32-year-old solo cyclist Biswajit Singh at Bornirja, Deopani along National Highway 39 under Bokajan sub-division of Karbi Anglong District. During a personal interaction the cyclist told TDE that he hails from the state of Uttar Pradesh and had been cycling since 2022. He also said that the purpose of his solo trip across India is “To spread an awareness message on Oxygen use and availability, importance of trees and the importance of water.” Moreover he targets to travel all over India and has so far travelled across 21 states. Now, his target is to travel across the North Eastern part of India. His journey to North-East began from Nagaland and is currently cycling in Karbi Anglong District of Assam on which he informed about Itanagar of Arunachal Pradesh as his next stoppage. The cyclist also added that he would be cycling abroad after returning home from the North-Eastern states.
