KOILAMATI, Aug 28: Under the initiative of the Nagaon District Karbi Students’ Association (NDKSA), a programme was conducted on Sunday to felicitate the successful HSLC and HSSLC candidates. The event was held at the Lions Club’s meeting hall in Nagaon. The event was chaired by NDKSA president Sonsing Tokbi and assisted by secretary Gautom Timung.
Among the guests who attended the programme were Longbir Engti (Asst. Professor, Dept. of Hindi ADP College Nagaon), KAAC MAC Dr. Mongve Rongpi, KSA president Mirjeng Kro, KSA external affairs secretary Barnabas Killing, TAC chairman Madan Bordoloi Chairman TAC, NDKSA founder Khogen Engti, Akon Pator, NE Karbi Live CEO Chandrasing Rongpi, Malong News CEO and poet On Teron and others.
While addressing the event, all guests spoke on the need for good and quality education in one’s life and also for the development of society. They said that above all things, students must give priority to their studies for a better future.
