DILLAI, Apr 10: An container truck containing illegal Burmese supari was today seized by the police personnel of Lahorijan Police Patrol Post under Dillai police station.
The truck with registration number WB 73G 1904 was parked on the roadside, and while the police conducted a thorough search, they found the supari (split areca nut). According to the police, the truck had been parked at some distance from the check post since April 8. They found it suspicious as it did not move even after two days and no driver was seen. As such, today they have conducted the search and found 144 bags of supari. An FIR had been registered in this case.
