BOKAJAN, Mar 05: Two Hollock Gibbons were rescued from a LP Truck coming from Manipur by Lahorijan Police at Lahorijan Police Patrol Post under Dillai Police station on Sunday.
The LP Truck bearing registration number AS 01 PC 3927 was coming from Manipur and was on its way to Nagaon when the endangered animals were rescued by the police.
On interrogation, the driver of the truck spilled out that the Hollock Gibbons were bought in Manipur. The animals were in the hands of the forest department at the time of report.
