Correspondent BOKAJAN, May 26: Zoumgam Football Club (ZFC) won the Greater Hanjanglangso Inter Club Football Championship which was played today under the initiative of Hanjanglangso Sports Association. The Championship trophy was played in loving memory of Lt. Lakhan Sing Ronphar & Lt. Sika Teronpi and Lt. Kongching Timung & Lt. Kanam Hansepi for the Runner-up trophy. The Championship match commenced around 03:45 pm this evening after an interaction session between the FC.
Out of the finalists played between Eagle Football Club and Zoumgam Football Club (ZFC) took away the championship trophy by scoring 2 goals with 0 score by the EFC. The trophy distribution ceremony was led by Hanjanglangso Sports Association President Jibon Ch.Pathak during which the winning trophy was awarded by KAAC MAC Kadom Terangpi & Pratap Rongphar and the Runner-up trophy was handed over by VDC chairman Silarson Rongpi.
The opening ceremony of the Championship match was presided over by HSA President Jibon Ch.Pathak and a guests introduction session was undertaken by General Secy of HSA Amit Puran Terang. The event was attended by Ex-EM Ramsing Tokbi, KSA BDC President Raju Engleng, Social Worker Robbie Rongpi, Janasing Phangcho, Langtuk Timung and others
